Payment, Cancellation & Booking Terms
Bookings may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided your cancellation request is received before your course begins. Subject to your mandatory statutory rights, a full refund applies except for the actual cost of PMI products and official PMI learning materials already purchased on your behalf, as explained below. The US$129 administration fee and payment/refund processing-fee deductions below do not apply to cancellations within this initial 24-hour period.
After this period, your booking remains fully transferable to another participant. Date changes are free when requested at least 48 hours before your class begins. A US$150 change fee applies to requests made with less than 48 hours’ notice. Rescheduling is subject to availability.
If you request a refund after the initial 24-hour period and before your course begins, we will refund your payment less:
- a standard schedule cancellation and refund administration fee of US$129;
- actual payment and refund processing fees charged by our payment service providers; and
- the actual cost of any official PMI learning materials and PMI products purchased on your behalf.
Subject to your mandatory statutory rights, official PMI products and learning materials, including PMI membership, exam fees or vouchers, PMI Study Hall and other digital learning products, are non-refundable once purchased on your behalf. This applies even if you cancel within the first 24 hours, have not activated, used or redeemed the product, or have not started your course. Making a booking alone does not trigger this restriction: the product must actually have been purchased on your behalf. Any deduction is limited to the actual third-party cost already incurred on your behalf and is not deducted twice. Our aim is to be as fair and flexible as possible while recovering only genuine costs already incurred on your behalf. Where requested, we will provide reasonable supporting evidence of any third-party costs deducted from your refund, including receipts, invoices or payment confirmations where available.
Subject to your mandatory statutory rights, course/training fees are non-refundable under this contractual cancellation policy once you begin attending an instructor-led class and meet your instructor in the physical or live virtual classroom. The transfer and rescheduling provisions above continue to apply, subject to their stated conditions. PMI operates and controls its own platforms and digital products. If you experience an access or technical issue with a PMI product purchased on your behalf, please notify FCA promptly. You may also contact PMI support directly at https://www.pmi.org/about/contact. FCA will provide reasonable assistance with purchase and activation information and with enquiries to PMI. FCA is not responsible for outages, technical faults or access restrictions attributable solely to PMI and outside FCA’s reasonable control. This does not exclude FCA’s responsibility for its own errors or failure to supply the purchased product, or limit any mandatory statutory rights or remedies. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any mandatory statutory consumer rights or remedies, including applicable cancellation rights and remedies for nonperformance, nonconformity, failure to supply, or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill. Purchasing a PMI product or beginning class attendance does not by itself remove any statutory cancellation right. Where the law requires consent, acknowledgement or other conditions before that right can be lost, those requirements must be satisfied. Any refund, repeat performance, price reduction or other remedy required by law remains available; deductions and fees apply only to the extent permitted by law. These rights and remedies take precedence over the non-refundable costs, fees and attendance cutoff described above. This amendment is dated October 31, 2026 and takes effect for new purchases made from its publication. It does not retrospectively change the terms of earlier purchases.
